Emma Gray graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art,
London in 2001.
Emma and her young family are now based in Edinburgh.
Her paintings are both Landscape and Figurative. The
Landscape work is inspired by the challenging beauty
and bleakness of Scotland and in particular in Orkney
where she spends time every year. While the figurative
work is informed by the paintings of Caravaggio, exploring
communication at moments of revelation.
